Network Marketing has been emerging as the leading home based business, as a high integrity, win, win opportunity for both individuals and company alike. No or low startup, unlimited income opportunity, and the list goes on...sounds great right? Read on and learn how to walk through the mine field of winner and loser companies and products.

Today with our economy struggling, we all realize the importance of a 2nd and 3rd vein of income, and the benefits of not being dependent on an employer. Granted many people like to play the odds and join a lot of companies. To date I have not seen anyone in multiple companies richly rewarded, mostly I see people narrowing down the companies to find the right one. So why not investigate upfront?

A network marketing company needs to have proven itself before I invest my time and money because I'm also investing my reputation. Also, people who tend to move from company to company are quickly diluting themselves. Having said that, I've seen people unsuccessful at 5 or 6 companies come into the right company and literally soar because all the elements were in place for them to do so.

LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT COMPANY

Look for the truth, see if the company you are investigating is trustworthy, see if the ingredients are certified organic, the formulations are the best standard of quality.

THE 'ACID' TEST - You would buy this product. And then, if you would pay the same amount for your selection in a store. IF SO, your network retail pricing passes the consumer "ACID" test.

Then look at your investment and see what you are receiving for your "joining" money. Companies who charge $300, $400, $500, a $1,000 to join without providing you someting in return are, in my opinion, simply feeding front dollars to an upline chain of distributors. As that base becomes broader the pressure becomes greater. If it costs you hundreds of dollars (for an empty kit), where does the money go? I don't get this other than it's incentive for you to get your prospects to buy into the same thing so that you get a return on your investment. In my opinion high buy in's and empty buy in's cast a long shadow of negativity, and do nothing productive for your long term growth of residual income.How can you ever step back when there is a constant and neverending need for new investors?

Personally, I long ago gave up the idea of right time, right place, especially when I saw so many people being hurt, disallusioned, and left out in the cold. I have always believed and continue to believe it's about having all the elements in place - mutual respect, integrity, big opportunity, incredible results driven product(s), and a major key for me is a level playing field. Then I look for the wave, the "game changing" product, the "breakthrough" product with an 80% market share, but only when all the other elements are in place.

A successful, solid company who makes itself transparent in all business aspects and, maybe more importantly, has invested in everyone's future with clincially proven, results driven products found nowhere else, will be a company more likely to be respectful of its' distributors and customers. A company where the playing field is level, and your income is derived through your efforts in conjunction with those who have a vested interest in your success, is a necessity in our whirlwind of startups today.

A major key in deciding on a company is their "retention" rate. The higher the retention rate, the more effective you are. High retention will leverage your future residual income, maintain the business you develop, i.e., your time becomes an investment for future income. Building income for the future is the goal of every network marketer, but it needs to be secure in the retention rate of the company.

DETERMINE YOUR INCOME AND YOUR RESIDUAL

It's also proven that anyone can earn solid six figure and multi six figure incomes but what is usually left out is that doing so requires hard work, focused effort and a long term commitment. A key to know whether high incomes are possible at the company you join (outside of distributors already earning high income and you see that they are working), is the percent of profit the company takes for themselves, and if the pay plan provides new distributors the same playing field as existing leaders.

Considering networkers are paid from the lion's share of the profit, or what would be otherwise known as the huge (upfront)advertising budget in a conventional business, it's important to know what percent of the profit is dedicated to distributors, and what percent the owners are taking off the top of the dollars earned with your labor.

Once you find the right company, the real truth as I see it, is the more you can multi task the faster you will reach your goals. Most of us dance between the raindrops to grow this business, it's dedicated time and then on the fly, it becomes integrated in your life. Multi tasking is a network marketer's middle name because for the most part, windows of opportunity simply present themselves when you least expect them.

Depending on the allocated time you'll be dedicating, and based on my experience, anyone can grow a solid business, a primary income if that's what they want, six figures, multiple six figures, or a few hundred, to a few thousand a month, but they have to have "all the elements in place", and they have to have a plan in place. For example 10 hours a week would push out your goal date, 15 hours a week brings it closer.

Another hidden truth.....no matter how good you are at network marketing, you will never know "who will become successful", it simply remains a huge mystery. A stay at home mom, or a stay at home dad, a plumber, a stockbroker, a real estate agent, a CEO of another company, none of the usual markers apply. ANYONE,  and I mean anyone can do this and most often I am hugely surprised at who takes it seriously, steps up and makes it happen.

When a pay plan provides an equitable enrollment, a level playing field, promotional bonus opportunity along with basic pay structure, as well as a financial future that will grow with an individual's desire to hold their future in their hands, then I call that "new school" network marketing. Integerity, values and mutual respect are crucial not only for your success, but for the success of the company.

We are seeing many poeple from other professions crossover into our business model, especially right now - people who at another time were secure in their fields, now see the foundational truth of a solid income as well as the residual benefit of our business model. Think about most transactions, they are "do overs". like the realtor who sells a house and then begins again looking for a new house to sell or a new buyer to buy.

 

THEN THEIR IS MENTORING

Know who you enroll with, know their goals, their success, and their ambition, know if they adopt "servant leadership" strategies. It's not as important your enroller is already successful, but that you can identify if your enroller is serious/ What is all telling is how they selected their enroller and why. You must have a strong support team, no doubt.

NO ONE can be successful in network marketing alone, it's not designed that way. My success is attributed to "servant leadership, serving and mentoring distributors who decide to own a home based business. Partnering businesses linked together for success.To teah is to learn, anyone who takes this on should recognize their "coaching" role as well as their "recrutment" responsibilities.

It has always been that 90% of networkers make up the mass, or the volume ($$ revenue) for the leaders. I believe that same 90% could also reach their own individual success with the right training and spent a great deal of time developing processes "that literally anyone can do" who wants to reap a commission check.

When someone has been in several companies unsuccesfully there is amazing opportunity with the right company and the right team. I see this happen time and time again, mostly when people are left to "self train", when "mentoring" is left out.

Everyone does this business differently and in their own time, but there are some factors that anchor sucess. Ensuring success is just as vital as recruiting, paralysis does not grow your organization.

Along with a great company, the biggest ingredient for success is a product(s) that has incredible results, clinically proven and found nowhere else but your company.

A company (and partners) who are supportive of your success, meaning a great compensation plan and incentives, or self promotion bonuses. And one of the biggest factors that most new network marketers don't have (online or one on one) is upline support team that is knowledgeable in all phases of network marketing from product knowledge to industry knowledge, compensation plan strategy, success strategy, AND, completely vested in your success!

 

Our team is a highly successful team because we have strong integrity, we walk our talk, and we are vested in each other, we link arms with every team member, and together we can do anything.
