Our Soil Cannot Sustain Us

In a 1936 US Senate meeting in Congress, it was stated that " .....unless something is done about the poor nutrient content in the soil. there will be a serious rise in degenerative diseases within 50 years."

As recently as 1993, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that the United States soil was 95% depleted of essential minerals. The 'Breadbasket of the World' was rated near the top of the list as one of the worst soils in the world.
