Food Strategies
Simple Strategies
Veges – Purchase weekly (or twice a week), wash in baking soda water, cut roughly in thirds and store in large bowl covered in water.
Lettuce and herbs – Scissor or tear, but “don’t wash” until you are ready to use – either store open in drawer or in plastic bags with holes
Each week add new and interesting things to your salad choices for the week
Make it easy by premaking at least 2 dressings each week.
Fusion - Add raw with cooked, or layer. Chewing more and having fresh vegetable enzymes aids your digestive process.
Chew More - Alkalzing begins in your mouth, the more work your teeth do, the less work your digestive system has to do.
Low heat crock pot soups are nutritious and easily digested - you can pour soup over fresh spinach or herbs, or diced raw veges.
Stock lemons, limes, cold pressed oils, frozen organic vegetables.
