How to maximize your supplements.
Foundational, Target, Cleansing!
What Does What?
Divide your supplements into three categories:
Foundational: Provides the difference between what you nutrition you ingest/eat and what nutrition your body requires.
Target or Stand Alone: This would be a product that you are taking for a specific reason, i.e., the doctor says you need an extra vitamin or mineral, you heard it was good for a symptom you had, etc.
Cleansing or Elimination: Provides a way to release toxins or perpetuate bowel movements.
Once you have divided your supplements, then go through each and determine if they are within dates, are water soluble (your body is mostly water, if they can’t dissolve in water chances are they will not dissolve in your body), and divide each group into capsules, liquid, or other.
Foundational you would take everyday.
Target or Stand Alone you would usually only take if you have symptoms.
Cleansing you would do as you deem necessary, keeping in mind that the colon and intestinal tract is very important.
Know what you are taking and why, it simplifies the process of becoming balanced.
Supplement Taking Hints :
Capsules with a little food, and sublingual drops on an empty stomach is optimum.
Never drink alkalized water or greendrink an hour before or after food – you do not want to interfere with your digestion.
Clay (optimally) should be set up in water for 6-8 hours before drinking, but in a pinch, make a paste and put between cheek and gum, then drink until it dissolves (or at bedtime, let it dissolve as you sleep).
Many products have dual purposes or can be used several ways.
Simple protocols are best protocols – for example:
- Greendrink upon rising, 1hr after lunch
- Put sublingual drops by toothbrush, and every time you brush do your drops.
- Put capsules where you eat, and each time you eat take capsules
- Drink alkalized water with fresh lemon water anytime
